Rocq Capital Holdings has announced that Mark Thompson has agreed to join its board as a Non Executive Director.
Mark has had a distinguished career of over 30 years as an accountant at KPMG culminating as Chairman and Senior Partner of KPMG in the Channel Islands. He retired from KPMG in 2015 but continues to work in a voluntary capacity as a director of Les Bourgs Hospice, Elizabeth College and Guernsey Hockey. Mark is also a former Chairman of the Guernsey branch of the institute of Directors.
Stuart Perfitt, Managing Director of Rocq Capital said the Company was delighted Mark had agreed to join the board as he brings a wealth of experience that will be of enormous benefit with its future plans.
Mark commented that he valued the opportunity to work with the directors at Rocq Capital at an exciting time in the group’s development. ‘The team has built up a strong investment track record and now as a fully independent and locally owned business it will look to expand it offering.’
Rocq Capital was formed in July 2016 following a buyout of the Edmond de Rothschild business locally by its management team. Rocq Capital provides investment management for private clients, trusts and pension funds. It also offers broking services to an international client base.
